Right next door to the Mercure Sapporo Hotel is an excellent sushi restaurant on the second floor (take the escalator staircase). All sushi menu items are ordered per plate. We asked for an English menu, and pricing is reasonable (¥300, ¥500, and ¥700 per plate). The staff spoke English and service is attentive. We throughly enjoyed the quality sushi that Hokkaido has to offer.

It was surprisingly empty at around 8:30 pm on a weekday. Regardless, the staff were very friendly and there were English menus available as well. We got the chef’s recommendation sushi tasting; and it was very delectable! Food was served pretty quickly.

Visited around 20:00, there were a few sold-outs. But staffs asked me to change order or not. Uni was super fresh. Crab miso soup was perfect! Dishes were fine, but pretty expensive. And staffs were too busy.

Thought of giving this a try instead of the one at Stellar place since it's nearer to my Airbnb. We reached 6.00pm on a Friday and there were plenty of seats. Staff are polite and promptly serves us cold water and an English menu. There are other items not in English menu so you will have to use Google translate as the staff is not English speaking. Sushi were quite fresh and the sashimi salad was nice. Overall, I still think Hanamaru at Stellar Place is nicer. But if you don't want to queue, you can consider this.

Overall, it’s a decent sushi place. I’d recommend it. I visited before noon on a Friday snd did not have to wait. A solo diner, I was offered a table or a counter seat. The friendly waiter spoke English and tried to accommodate my needs. Set menu can be ordered via waiters but the a la carte menu diners have to fill in the number of the dish on a piece of paper. Fish is fresh and not thin sliced. Good value for what you pay for.

Incredibly good value lunch menu! Only approx 1650, great friendly service, English menu, I opted for their recommendation of sushi and wasn't disappointed! Cool atmosphere and super fresh and tasty food!

Very tasty sushi. There are also lunch deals/menus (with photo). There are a variety of different sushis also with English menu, but without photos. So it might be a bit hard if you are not familiar with sushi varieties. But definitely worth it!

Corner of 2nd floor Recolte. Fresh sushi and sashimi. Sashimi salad was so good, we got a second helping. Reasonable prices. There is a menu in English. Helpful and friendly service. No English or Mandarin speaking staff though.
